About Us
Dr. Victoria Larson
Victoria attended the Western College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Saskatchewan, then went on to complete her Masters of Science Degree and residency in medical oncology at Colorado State University. After becoming board-certified, Victoria accepted a position at the University of Minnesota where she coordinated the Oncology service and trained residents and students in veterinary medical oncology. She has authored several book chapters, papers and lectured all over North America. She now lives and works in Calgary, Alberta and enjoys spending time with her husband and blue heeler.
Dr. Nicole Leibman
Dr. Leibman received her DVM from the University of Minnesota, did her internship at the Animal Medical Center, and completed her medical oncology residency and a Master’s of Science at Colorado State University. After becoming board-certified, Dr. Leibman worked in private practice and currently works as the Director of The Cancer Institute at the Animal Medical Center in New York City where she practices clinical medicine and teaches and trains residents and interns. She has collaborated with Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and NYU Langone Medical Center on projects that benefit both animals and people. As a board-certified veterinary oncologist, she’s been practicing clinical oncology for more than 20 years. She currently lives in New York City.
